UI Design

OVERVIEW: SC Asset is a Thai Real Estate Developer, and COVID-19 coincided with SC Asset's entry into other markets. They required a full website that could cater to the different markets, the countries and languages that were required included Hong Kong, China, Japan and an English(International) site.

CHALLENGES: Having multiple languages on our end, the design challenge was to make sure that everything flowed as intended. As the characters used for Chinese(strokes), and English(alphabets), are extremely different, trying to create a design that captures both the languages's essence was important. User Journey was another challenge, as we had different target audiences from different countries trying to access the site, I wanted to make sure that the relevant information is accessible with as little navigation and clicks as possible.

SOLUTION: I provided several styles, namely a clean and simple corporate style, and a neuomorphic style for them to choose from. One is timeless and the other is a newer trend. A lot of planning and research was done for the user journey, ultimately achieving what we intended (see above for examples). The team and I compared current competitors within the market, as well as websites that were not in the industry, like Netflix for example, it takes less than 5 steps to unsubscribe, which was what we wanted to create onto SC Asset's website.

RESULT: The site was well received, and several talks with investors were had, and all the different countries and languages worked as intended.
